Current go-to products

This is a little spontaneous post that I added in last minute after snapping this flatlay the other day. I was originally going to use it purely for Instagram and mention that these are my current go-to products when I realised I could actually talk a bit about them in a blog post instead, so here we are!

Firstly my go-to eyeshadow palette lately is the I Think I Love You palette from Colourpop. Asides from looking so bloody beautiful, the shades are so me, and perfect for everyday simple, but not too simple looks. If that makes sense. The overall colour theme is kind of brown and rose gold, with a mix of matte, satin and foiled shadows. There's one bright white foiled shade in particular which is so pretty and glittery - it looks amazing on the inner eye corners, I love it.

For my base I've been testing out a mini Pore Filler from a NYX set I bought last month. At first I was like, well this is really weird and thick, but now I really like it! The primer has a pink tint to it and is on the thick side, but also velvety soft at the same time. It does a really good job at creating a smooth base.
Another new base product I'm reaching for is the new Lasting Perfection Concealer from Collection in shade 0 Extra Fair. I had no idea that this was even being made until I randomly saw someone mention it somewhere on Twitter. But anyway I grabbed 2 online from Boots to collect in store because there was zero (lol) chance of it being in stock on any of their shelves. It's definitely brighter than their original lightest shade 1 Fair, but does have a slight yellowish tint to it. I'm finding it much better than the other one though!

On my cheeks, I'm loving using this Honey Bronzer from the Body Shop, although a little sad I'm ruining the cute honeycomb pattern. I have mine in the lightest shade and it's a really good match, but it looks even better when I have a tan though!
I don't own a lot of blushes but I find myself using the Galifornia Blush from Benefit a lot. They sent me this in September when I won a competition on their Instagram page - I didn't actually win the blush but they added it in to say sorry for the delay which was nice. It smells like peaches and summer and is really subtle which I like in a blush.

My go-to lately for lips again is Colourpop. I'm loving these little mini's I got in a trio, particularly the glossy and matte formulas. I've almost rinsed the gloss now after using it quite a lot throughout January for quick and minimal looks. It's in shade Fairy Floss which is a really light, beige nude. The matte shade is called Shorty which is my perfect nude brown shade. It's so long lasting too, and with the help of some lip balm underneath, isn't too drying either. For reference Fairy Floss is at the bottom of the photo and Shorty is towards the top.

Are you using any of these products lately?
