3 Full Coverage Foundations

If there's one product I couldn't live without it would have to be foundation. I rely on foundation for not only brightening up my face but hiding all the imperfections too, so generally my favourites tend to be full coverage. These are my 3 picks of different formulations that are each good in their own individual way.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundadtion | £31
I've not actually used this in a while but I used to love it. The coverage is full, leaving your skin totally perfected and matte covering all those little imperfections. The lasting power on this foundation is one of its main features, getting you through day to night with no problems. It literally clings to your skin for dear life, but is easy to remove with a good quality makeup remover. This is definitely a good night out option that will last through heat and humidity.

Finish: Matte
Best for: Oily skin
Bad for: Messy application

Clinique Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer | £25
I recently did a full review of this foundation (read here) as it's my current favourite go-to for full coverage. It's both a foundation and concealer in one which can really build up coverage where you may need it, leaving a comfortable, yet moisturised finish. It has a thicker consistency but it isn't any harder to blend, which adapts to your skin tone for a more perfect match. I'd say it offers the best coverage out of the three here as you don't require any additional products on top to conceal.

Finish: Natural Matte
Best for: Dry/Combination skin
Bad for: Under eye creasing

Vichy Dermablend Foundation | £18
This corrective foundation is formulated for problem skin, providing good quality coverage for those problem areas. The lightweight and moisturising formula is highly pigmented which is good for redness, acne and scars etc and sits comfortably on the skin. It's light formula is super blendable and won't sit on or highlight any dry areas. This is a good and affordable foundation for anyone wanting a trusted, dermatalogically tested foundation for their problematic skin.

Finish: Natural
Best for: Combination skin
Bad for: Shade range
