Affordable brands

The most recent brand to launch (in Manchester anyway) is this super stylish, Italian-based brand. From what I'm aware the products are only available in Kiko stores and on their own website so they aren't exactly easy to get hold of - which is what makes the brand so desirable. The products and packaging are all elegant and sophisticated, but they also have a playful, girly theme running throughout some of the ranges. As well as makeup, the brand produces professional skincare products including moisturisers, treatments, spf and more. The prices range from £5.90 for a singular eyeshadow or lipstick, although there are frequent sales on offering products for as little as £1.70. The quality of the products are professional, making them a very admirable brand.

NYX Cosmetics
A brand I seem to talk about a lot is NYX. The brand based in Los Angeles have built up their status enormously and are now one of the most recognised and popular brands out there. The company was also bought by L'Oreal! Since emerging into Boots stores around the UK the products have been in popular demand and are frequently sold out fast, but the range is ever growing, expanding and adding more products to the line. Their products range from prices as little as £3.50 for a single eyeshadow, £4 for a lipstick and £12 for a contour kit. The quality of the products are of a very high standard yet are fun and quirky.

Not so good:
Products too small

Makeup Revolution was only launched in 2014 in London but has rapidly gained a high reputation for having extremely affordable prices. Available throughout Superdrug stores as well as their new website tambeauty.com, I wouldn't say the brand is the most accessible but not too hard if you have a local Superdrug that stocks it. Eyeshadow palettes range from just £4-£10 with a wide variety of choice from matte-based to mermaid-based and are all as appealing as each other. The products are unique yet also offer a lot of 'dupe' products which rival high end brands.
